At Valley Creek Backyard, our greatest pleasure is helping adventurous property owners discover new ideas of what their home, yard, or landscape can provide. Verb - To create, fashion, execute, or construct according to plan.

Backyard (ˈbak-ˈyärd):

Noun - An area at the rear of a house.

Backyard Design
(ˈbak-ˈyärd di-ˈzīn):

Verb - The process of combining a love of the outdoors, expertise, and a spirit of adventure to create, fashion, execute, construct, or redefine what may be experienced in an area at the rear of a house.

‘Backyard Design’ may not be recognized in Webster’s Dictionary, but we live by our own definition. The opportunity to bring ideas into reality, by means of wood, metal and wire, is what gets us out of bed in the morning. The question on our minds is never “why would you…” but why wouldn’t you dream big?

Our experience, combined with a healthy dose of imagination, has turned backyards into castles, creeks into storybook moments, and lonely trees into intimate spaces that transform the possibilities of our customers’ property. Whether the aim is an outdoor kitchen, a bespoke outdoor space, treehouse, water element, or something truly out of this world, we’re the ones who can make it happen.

  • Bridges and walkways can be given an artistic touch, elevating a simple accessway to something out of the ordinary. With a range of materials, techniques, and natural inspirations to guide us we can create bridges that bring new life and access to your property. We are able to craft bridges able to support foot traffic as well as residential vehicle traffic, including light trucks. Whether you want to traverse by foot, car, horse and carriage, or whatever else you can dream up, we’ll build the road beneath your feet.

  • When you hear “tree house,” do you think of a child's hideaway? What about a fully insulated, electrically-supplied getaway in the middle of your property? Or perhaps an airbnb situated on remote land away from the world. Tree houses have immense potential to transform a property’s functionality, and provide you a new view of your world—from up in the trees, halfway to the sky.

  • Lily pads, frog princes, we’ve got it all. Whether you have existing water elements in need of maintenance or dredging, or are interested in adding water to your property, we have experience in dynamic water installation. We also offer services in existing water redirection, such as altering a natural creek or stream’s flow on your property.
